TrendForge

Terms and conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms apply to every use of TrendForge, the website trendforge.nl and the TrendForge Chrome extension, offered by Ettekoven-IT, trading as VestForward ("we"), Molenstraat 28, 8081 BC Elburg, the Netherlands, KvK 76729249, VAT NL003128966B31.

1. The service

TrendForge helps you research Shopify stores: best-selling products, new products, product movement, active Meta ads, visits, reviews, apps and checkout. It reads publicly available information in your own browser. Scores and labels such as the Winner score are estimates based on that information, not sales figures. We do not guarantee that any product will sell.

2. Your account

  • You need an account with a valid email address. Keep your password and recovery codes secret; you are responsible for what happens with your account.
  • An account is personal. Sharing access with others is not allowed.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Free trial

New accounts can start one free trial per person, for the number of days shown on the pricing page. The trial ends automatically; you are not charged unless you subscribe.

4. Subscription, prices and payment

  • Prices are shown on the pricing page and include 21% Dutch VAT. Consumers elsewhere in the EU pay the same price with the VAT of their country; businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT number and customers outside the EU pay without VAT.
  • A subscription renews automatically for the same period (for example a month or a year) until you cancel it. Payments are collected through Mollie, by the payment method you used for the first payment.
  • A price change only applies to new subscriptions, unless we announce it at least 30 days in advance; you can then cancel before the change takes effect.
  • When a renewal cannot be charged, you keep access for a few days. If it is still not paid, access ends and the subscription stops.
  • You receive an invoice by email for every payment, and all invoices are on your account page.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time on your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for; paid periods are not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because TrendForge is a digital service that starts immediately, you ask us at checkout to start right away and confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once it has started. Use the free trial to try TrendForge first.

7. Fair use

  • Use TrendForge for your own research. Do not resell its output as a service, and do not use it to overload, attack or copy the websites you research.
  • Respect the rights of others, including copyright on product photos and texts, and the terms of the websites and services you visit (such as Shopify stores, Meta and Apify).
  • Do not try to get around the licence, the limits of your plan, or our security.

When you break these rules we may suspend or close your account, after a warning when that is reasonable.

8. Third-party services

Some features use services of others, such as Apify with your own API key or Meta's Ad Library in your browser. Their terms and costs apply and are your responsibility. We are not responsible when those services change or stop.

9. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep TrendForge available and working, but cannot guarantee it is always available or free of errors. Websites change; a feature may stop working until we update it. We may improve and change TrendForge; we announce changes that limit what you paid for.

10. Liability

TrendForge gives information, not advice. Decisions about products, advertising and stock are yours. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage, and we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit, except in case of intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have by law.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy statement.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We announce important changes by email at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

13. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the district of Gelderland, the Netherlands, unless the law gives consumers the right to go to the court of their own place of residence. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. Questions or complaints: info@ettekoven-it.nl.
